Hello Gorgeous,
Was invited to KayKay's friend -- Kiki's boyfriend restaurant opening !!!
The restaurant is called " Coriander " ( located at 220 East Coast Road ) !!!
The ambience of the place is very chill ( considering the fact that KiKi's boyfriend went to decor the place with handmade souvenir he bought from Bali LOL !!! ), the "feel" is more like an Italian Bistro and the price of their food are very reasonable.
Ok this one I really have to be honest,
Being a blogger, constantly I'm being spammed with all the invitations to food tastings ( which I refused to go ).
I guess it's more like an accumulative thing causing me to loathe going to food tastings because it's mostly bad restaurant PR strategy trying to milk publicity through blog reviews and they loved to put down super alot of criteria just for their "free" food tasting ( and they thought that we bloggers sibei gian peng for their free food *roll eyes* ).
But *with that said* I still do get really nice restaurant invitations requesting me to go down for food tasting ( without any perks in exchange lah ~ ~ ~ ). #seldom
And if you are constant reader of my blog, I barely advertise restaurants ( it's mostly beauty related or my vain or emo mama blogpost LOL ) !!!
But I really feel the need to advertise this restaurant to you guys lah ( not because it's KayKay's friend restaurant ) but it's because the food that I've tried are all MAD OIISHII !!! *drooling*
Plus *ahem* from what I heard from KayKay, KiKi's boyfriend ( who runs the restaurant and also the chief of the restaurant ) used to work in some atas hotel as chief !!!
This KiKi damn good life ( Boyfriend handsome, body also good and still know how to cook #3in1 ) LOL !!!

| [ APPETIZER: Thai Style Top Shell ] FML !!! I still asked KayKay " What is this pickles huh ? Very delicious leh ? " HAHAHA yuan lai is TOP SHELL ~ ~ ~ Actually I don't really know WTF is top shell. Usually I'm more like a zhi char person and it's always those usual mussels, cockles dish !!! |

| YOU SEE YOU SEE !!! I'M SUCH A TROLL !!! I still went to take picture of the TOP SHELL so I'll rmb to go home and google what is TOP SHELL !!! OHMYTIAN I'm such a dumbwhore !!! Anyway I haven't review on this dish yet ... It's a very simple appetizer suitable to hype up your hunger even further with their specially mixed sweet and sour sauce and their well garnish vegetables ~ ~ ~ LOL I sound like LadyIronChief ~ ~ ~ I should totally consider venturing out to food blogging ( enough of my vain beauty tips/tricks LOL ) !!! |

| [ MAIN COURSE : Seafood Aglio Oglio ] Very fufilling considering the fact that the dish is filled with prawns, mussels and GARLICS ( which I LOVE ). And the portion of the dish is not sibei kua zhang ( enough for you to tahan one more desert !!! ) |

| [ SOUP: Carrot Soup ] Something new. Never tried this before. Taste very refreshing ( if I'm not wrong they add pumpkin and sour cream inside ). Goes even better with their garlic bread !!! |

| [ MAIN COURSE: Beef Stew ] Also a very impressive dish ( but not as mind blowing-ly impressive as their escargot lah) !!! Worth the try !!! I still can rmb the tender beef dissolving in my mouth !!! WTF !!! |

| [ DESERT: Oreo Cheesecake topped w/ Vanilla Ice Cream ] Very cool combination. Cheesecake with ice cream !!! They also have strawberry cheesecake ( damn nice ) and chocolate fudge ( also damn nice ) !!! But this is my personal favorite ... sorry I'm very #OldSchool !!! |

Alright, people staying near Katong you have one more restaurant to bare in mind now !!! LOL !!!
You Katong-ers are damn good life. The whole street is like a red light district for restaurants !!! Damn alot of foodie places !!! LOL
Anyway, do head down to Coriander and KEEP A LOOKOUT FOR THEIR CORIANDER EMOTICONS ON THEIR MENU ( because it's the indicator for their chef's recommendation; confirm damn oiishi one #trustme ) !!!
